It is believed that health and healing involve the integration of mind, body and spirit.

Healing touch practices pervade nursing history holistic modalities is suggestive of efforts to bring the heart back into the work of nursing.

This article reviews some of the research involving reiki and makes suggestions to future implications in medical treatment and need to refine research.
